The crash sparked a fire and a natural gas leak. The incident happened in the 700 block of Saticoy Avenue.
The Ventura City Fire Department said when the vehicle rammed into the house, it broke the gas meter.
Fire officials said the smell of natural gas was present, so nearby homes were forced to evacuate. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
