The first time, Mr. Obama shied away from any public displays of affection, and Mrs. Obama was seen shaking her head "no," prompting boos from the crowd.
Later in the game, the couple got a do-over when the Kiss Cam again swung their way. But this time, Mr. Obama game the first lady a big kiss on the lips, and then a peck on the forehead, to which the crowd roared.
Deputy press secretary Josh Earnest later said the couple didn't realize the Kiss Cam was watching them the first time.
