Authorities responded to Colonia Park at 6:19 p.m. and talked to several witnesses. Officers were able to obtain a description of the vehicle the suspects were seen in.
In less than 10 minutes, police spotted a vehicle matching the description and observed a partially concealed weapon inside. A witness was able to positively identify one of the occupants as being involved in the earlier incident.
Pompeyo Diaz De Leon, 35, and Ariana Pacheco, 18, were taken into custody for discharging a weapon in a reckless manner and numerous firearm violations. Diaz De Leon is also facing charges for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.
No one was injured in the incident.
