Authorities have not named a suspect in the website case, but they say there was never any intent to distribute the money.

Aurora police and the Arapahoe district attorney's office are working together to decide what charges will be filed. The fraudulent website has been taken down. There was no word on how much money was raised.

Meantime, 24-year-old James Holmes has been formally charged with 24 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder in the shooting rampage.
