Tires slashed overnight on more than 25 Ventura vehicles

VENTURA, Calif.

Responding officers found more than 25 vehicles with slashed tires. The vandalism was believed to have taken place between 11 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday.

According to police, the vandalized vehicles were located in an area between Telegraph Road to Cambria Street, and the neighborhood between Foothill Road to Telegraph Road and Saticoy to Nevada avenues.

Police identified and located each of the vehicle owners and filed reports.

Police believe there may be other vehicles vandalized.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Anyone with information related to this crime is urged to call the Ventura Police Department at (805) 339-4343, or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477. If your information leads to an arrest, you could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
