KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. on the 2700 block of San Marino Street in front of an apartment building. A man and a woman suffered non-life threatening injuries. Witnesses said they heard eight to 10 shots being fired.

"It was completely dead silent and then all of a sudden something woke us, maybe there was screaming. I don't know, but all of a sudden you hear bang, bang, bang," said Koreatown resident C.J. Asselin.

Detectives confirmed the shooting was gang-related and said they are searching for two male suspects, including the gunman. According to Los Angeles police, there have been several gang-related shootings in the area recently.
