Tightrope walker Adil Hoshur and two of his apprentices had nothing to catch them below if they fell off the wire, which was 4,500 feet long.
At one point, Hoshur came face to face with one his disciples halfway across the wire and walked over him in order to pass. Fortunately, all went as planned and the brave trio set a new world record.
Hoshur, 41, began tightrope walking at a very early age and showed his talent at the age of 10.
The record breaking event took place above the Dehang canyon in central China's Hunan Province.
