Take a tour of the downtown LA Ritz-Carlton Residences

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

The building is 54 stories high and offers stylish downtown living. What's it like inside?

Mauricio Umansky, CEO of The Agency, took Eyewitness News on a tour. The Agency is one of the few real-estate agencies handling the sales of the 224 homes in the tallest residential building in Los Angeles, which has a list of amenities just as high.

"From valet parking to security to concierge services to a gym, a pool. There's 20 restaurants at L.A. Live, and of course we have the Staples Center, the Nokia Theatre, and the Kings and the Lakers and the Clippers and hopefully Farmers Field with a brand new football team," said Umansky.

And some of those amenities are the reasons restaurant owner, Kerry Moy, purchased one of the one-bedroom units.

"My whole life is moving out here. Everything is walking distance. You got L.A. Live, you got the Staples Center, Nokia center. Everything is starting to circle around this area. And the growth here, I feel it, and it's going to be tremendous," said Moy.

But the real drawing card to the residences is the view.

"You have some of the best views I've seen in Los Angeles, including from the Hollywood Hills, being able to look out at the Hollywood Sign and the Griffith Park Observatory and the ocean, and watching where the Farmers Field is going to go," said Umansky. "It's just phenomenal."

The penthouse suite is on the 51st and 52nd floors. It's more than 5,800 square feet. It sells for more than $9 million. And it's vacant. You can customize it any way you want.
