12-year-old boy leads deputies on chase through Orange County
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO A sheriff's deputy saw someone driving erratically on Del Obispo near Paseo Carolina at about 1:17 a.m. Wednesday.
The driver ended up slamming into a tree in a center median on Dana Harbor Drive between Cove Road and Island Way. The car caught fire and was fully engulfed.
The boy was found hiding in some bushes near a boat dock and released to the custody of his parents.
