Detectives arrested Sergio Gallardo, 33, around 6:50 p.m. without incident for an alleged sexual relationship with a female juvenile. Her age has not been disclosed.
Gallardo met the juvenile while working as a Worship Leader at a South Bay church, authorities said.
The suspect was arraigned Thursday and charged with multiple counts of engaging in a sexual relationship with a juvenile.
The ongoing investigation is under command of Captain Bernard Anderson of the Special Operations Bureau.
