Kentucky struck by 4.3-magnitude earthquake

WHITESBURG, Ky.

Officials said the earthquake was strong enough to rattle nearby residents in Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Indiana, Ohio and Georgia.

Despite the trembling felt across nearby states, the quake is considered "light."

There were no reports of major damage or injuries.
