Victorville attempted kidnap suspect strikes again

VICTORVILLE, Calif.

The latest incident occurred Tuesday, Nov. 6 near 7th Street and Lorene Drive. Authorities say the suspect drove alongside the victim and attempted to engage her in a conversation. She refused and continued walking as the suspect stopped and exited his vehicle. The victim ran after the suspect grabbed her arm and tried to pull her inside.

According to sheriff's deputies, the suspect's description is very similar to that of a man who tried to abduct another female victim at the same intersection two weeks prior. In this case, however, the suspect fled as soon as another male subject approached the female.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall with a heavy build and black and gold dreadlocks. He is also described to have a mustache, a small beard on his chin and the sides of his face, and a scratch or scar near his right eye.

His vehicle is described as a metallic-blue Jaguar with tinted windows and chrome rims.

Anyone with further information about the attempted abductions was asked to contact Detective K. White of San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department at (760) 241-2911 or Sheriff's Dispatch at (760) 245-4211.
