A Ventura County sheriff's deputy found a vehicle around 8:45 a.m. near the 3500 block of Guiberson Road that had been reported stolen earlier from the Fillmore area.
During the investigation, officials said a vehicle approached the scene with three passengers. One suspect jumped out and fled on foot, while the driver and another passenger sped away.
Authorities were able to apprehend all three suspects after a brief pursuit. Investigators determined that the vehicle used to evade the deputy had been stolen in Los Angeles County.
