Charlie Vanhager, 54, and Maria Leon, 53, were killed Tuesday at the Golden West Towers at 3510 Maricopa St. The gunman, a resident in his 80s, then killed himself.
Residents say the man had been behaving erratically in the days leading up to the attack. Police are still investigating a possible motive.
The suspect's name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
