The Los Angeles International Airport Sunday morning was packed with cars. The lines inside were long as well. To combat the higher holiday volume, LAX brought in some extra volunteers to help passengers navigate the terminals and make their travel experience easier. However, some say staffing is still an issue.
"We were just coming in from Sydney and we were in line for an hour and a half, just one line after another and another, and I was a little angry when I got to the final end and only saw three agents," said traveler Tonia Bowle.
By the end of the day, an estimated 1.8 million passengers will have passed through LAX in just a little over a week.
Getting to the airport is also an issue. Sunday morning, Century Boulevard was packed, though Sepulveda Boulevard was less crowded.
