Downtown LA Sears armed robbery suspect sought

The public's help is needed to identify a department store robbery suspect who threatened employees with a knife at a Sears in Downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012.

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Sears in Downtown Los Angeles and threatened employees with a knife.

The robbery occurred at the department store located at 2050 East Olympic Boulevard on Nov. 13.

According to authorities, the male suspect put unpaid for clothes and shoes on and walked out of the store wearing the items.

When store employees attempted to stop him in the parking lot, the suspect allegedly threatened them with a knife.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing about 150 pounds. He is also said to have "LA" tattooed on his right hand. He was last seen wearing a large dark-colored jacket and a black baseball cap.
