Christmas Day is expected to be dry, but the wet weather may return by Wednesday.
Expect Monday's highs to be in the mid-60s in Los Angeles-Metro area, Orange County, Inland Empire and Valleys. The mountains will also have morning showers with snow at 6,000 feet and highs in the low 40s. The High Desert communities will see highs in the upper 50s.

The slick roads caused major problems for drivers across the Southland overnight. In Huntington Park, a pickup truck lost control and slammed through a cinderblock fence and collided with a parked SUV.
A car carrying four people, including two toddlers, collided with a big rig on the 405 Freeway at Washington Boulevard in Culver City. Everyone involved in the crash was expected to be OK.
There were also crashes on the 101 and 110 freeways, causing multiple injuries and triggering temporary road closures.
