Charles James, 30, of Antelope Valley, was tracked down at a residence in Greenville, South Carolina, and arrested Thursday morning.
James is suspected of sexually assaulting a girl Dec. 13 in the 2000 block of East Avenue J-8 in Lancaster around 6:15 a.m. The 14-year-old victim, who was on her way to Eastside High School, was allegedly dragged by James into nearby bushes and raped.
