Comedian Katt Williams was arrested on Tuesday after he skipped out on a scheduled court appearance in Sacramento, California, OTRC.com has confirmed.

A judge had issued a bench warrant after the comedian failed to show up for his arraignment for a bizarre three-wheeled motorcycle pursuit he was involved in with Sacramento police in November.

The 41-year-old, whose real name is Micah Sierra Williams, was held at the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Jail in Van Nuys, near Los Angeles, and released after several hours on Tuesday night around 10:15 p.m. after posting a $100,500 bond, records show.

Williams has had many run-ins with the law in the last few months. He was most recently arrested Dec. 28, reportedly on suspicion of felony child endangerment.

A week before that, police detained him briefly and issued him a ticket for a parking violation in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles.

The comedian also made headlines for failing to show up at his arraignment in Seattle to face assault charges stemming from an earlier arrest.

Williams is known for his role as Money Mike in the film "Friday After Next." He has appeared on TV shows, including "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out," "The Tracy Morgan Show," "My Wife and Kids" and "NYPD Blue."
