Three suspects have been taken into custody in connection to an armed robbery and standoff at a Nordstrom Rack store in Westchester on Thursday.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the arrests, but did not disclose other details.

It was just after closing time Thursday night when armed men took over the store. Fourteen store employees were held hostage during the standoff. Police said one was sexually assaulted and another was stabbed.

SWAT officers surrounded the shopping center and closed off the area. After a couple of hours, they forced their way into the store at about 2 a.m.

Two suspects managed to get away. It's unclear how much money was taken. The role of the third suspect was unclear.
