Oscars 2013: Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman to present

LOS ANGELES

"Between the two of them, Jack Nicholson and Dustin Hoffman have created more iconic characters than any other pair of actors in the world," show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement.

Nicholson has been nominated for an Oscar 12 times and has won twice for leading performances in "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "As Good as It Gets." He also won an Oscar for best supporting actor for "Terms of Endearment."

Hoffman has been nominated for an Oscar seven times, winning twice for best actor for "Kramer vs. Kramer" and "Rain Man."

Nicholson and Hoffman join the list of previously announced Oscar presenters that includes Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, Jamie Foxx, Michael Douglas, John Travolta, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Mark Wahlberg.
