Smoke from South LA house fire seen for miles

Smoke from a house fire in South Los Angeles could be seen for miles on Tuesday morning.

Authorities were called to the two-story home on the 100 block of East 62nd Street, just east of the 110 Freeway, at about 8 a.m. Flames were seen spitting through the roof of the house.

The fire was knocked down in about a half hour. No one was injured in the incident.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
