The fire broke out at Telegraph and Edwards Ranch roads, about half way between Santa Paula and Ventura, in what appeared to be a mixed-use industrial and farming area. A smaller fire was also reported in the farm's avocado grove next to what looked to be a truck storage yard.
Firefighters from Ventura County, Ventura city and Santa Paula pounced on the flames. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
