Small plane crashes into house in Wash., killing pilot

WOODINVILLE, Wash.

Witnesses said they heard the engine sputter and the propeller stop working, before the plane slammed through the garage door of the home in Woodinville Saturday.

One man aboard the plane, identified as the pilot, was found dead at the scene. His teenage nephew was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.

Tallon Korn and his friend were playing video games in a room located just above the garage, when the plane missed them by a matter of feet.

The young boy spoke exclusively to ABC's Good Morning America.

"I look outside and I look down and there's the wing right down below it, below the window, and I was right there too," Korn said. "I didn't realize how close it was to hitting me."

The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are now investigating the crash.
