Kate Moss has unleashed her wild, sexy side again -- but, this time, it was for charity.

The supermodel, who is known for her extensive career in fashion, read an excerpt from the sultry novel "Fifty Shades of Grey" live on BBC's Radio 1. The 39-year-old blonde personality, who is all smiles in the 2-minute video, helped raise more than $300,000 for the British charity Comic Relief.

In the online video, which can be seen below, a seemingly bashful and apprehensive Moss sits on a couch preparing to read the steamy excerpt. While she seems nervous prior to the reading, she impressively goes through the 40-second performance without a hitch.

The model encouraged listeners of her friend Nick Grimshaw's breakfast show to donate in exchange for her audio performance of the novel.

Comic Relief is a British charity aimed at helping the poor. Many celebrities have taken part in video and print campaigns over the past few years, namely Red Nose Day, when people wear red foam noses to show their support. The event takes place on Friday, March 15.

In October, Moss opened up and revealed that she had a breakdown after straddling Mark Wahlberg topless in a famous 1992 Calvin Klein advertisement (See photo). The model made her comments in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine.

"I had a nervous breakdown when I was 17 or 18, when I had to go and work with Marky Mark and Herb Ritts," Moss told Vanity Fair for their December issue. "It didn't feel like me at all. I felt really bad straddling this buff guy. I didn't like it. I couldn't get out of bed for two weeks. I thought I was going to die. I went to the doctor and he said, 'I'll give you some Valium,' and Francesca Sorrenti, thank God, said, 'You're not taking that.'"

Moss married the Kills front man Jamie Hince, 44, on July 1, 2011 at St. Peter's Church in Southrop, in Gloucestershire, England. The pair became engaged in January 2010 and have been together since 2007, when she and fiancé Pete Doherty, also a musician, broke up after two years of dating.
