Oscar Pistorius can leave South Africa with conditions, judge says

PRETORIA, South Africa

Pistorius must provide authorities with his travel plans at least a week in advance. He also has to hand his travel documents back to the court within 24 hours of returning home.

The double-amputee athlete has no immediate plans to compete, but his lawyers say that could change.

Pistorius is accused in the Valentine's Day murder of his model girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius claims he shot her by accident, thinking she was an intruder.

Prosecutors have charged him with premeditiated murder, saying he shot Steenkamp intentionally after they argued.

Meantime, Pistorius' brother, Carl Pistorius, pleaded not guilty Wednesday in the 2008 death of a female motorcyclist. His trial has been adjourned until next week.
