The 51-year-old woman was struck at the intersection of Fineview Street and Durfee Avenue Tuesday morning. She was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
Police later arrested 44-year-old Miguel Nevarez Jr. and impounded his 2002 GMC pickup truck. Investigators say they tracked him down with the help of witness information.
Nevarez was released after posting $100,000 bail.
