Firefighters got a report of smoke in the 11000 block of Western Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, a filtration business and a steel dye business were on fire.
It took the crew about 90 minutes to get the flames under control. Both businesses were damaged but fortunately, no one was inside at the time.
Investigators say the fire doesn't appear to be suspicious.
