Starbucks poison attempt: Woman arrested for tainted orange juice

SAN JOSE, Calif.

The incident happened around 3:45 p.m. Monday at the Starbucks on the 6000 block of Snell Avenue.

A woman, identified by investigators as Ramineh Behbehanian, is accused of leaving two tainted bottles of orange juice for customers to buy. Police say customers saw the woman putting the bottles in the Starbucks cold section.

Tests showed one bottle contained rubbing alcohol and the other had acetone, according to investigators.

No one drank the tainted juice. The woman fled the scene, but police later tracked her down and arrested her at her home.
