The attack happened at a club in the 400 block of East Main Street around 1 a.m. Sunday. Ventura officers were called to the scene, where they found 21-year-old Mark Sepulveda, of Oxnard, bleeding from a head injury.
Police say Sepulveda was struck in the head with a glass bottle by an unknown assailant, who fled out the back door before police arrived. Sepulveda was transported to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.
Several witnesses were able to provide officers with a suspect description. The suspect is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.
