Palmdale father shot, killed by son after fight

PALMDALE, Calif.

Gunfire rang out around 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the 5600 block of Magda Court.

Detectives say a 39-year-old man and his father were involved in an altercation and exchanged gunfire.

Both men were struck and taken to a local hospital.

The father died, and the 39-year-old was listed in critical but stable condition.
