Automaker Toyota is conducting a voluntary safety recall of the 2010 Toyota Prius and Lexus HS 250h vehicles.

The recall, which affects approximately 87,000 vehicles, involves a brake problem.

Toyota says the cars are equipped with a brake pressure accumulator that may develop a fatigue crack on an internal part due to vibration.

No accidents or injuries have been reported.

Owners of the cars affected in the recall will receive notification by mail. The company says dealerships will replace the recalled part for free.
