Visitors will be able to walk out onto the field, which the public was not able to do for the past 90 years in the history of the Rose Bowl. But now, because of the behind-the-scenes tour, people will be able to see the view from the field.
"This is probably ... the most special part," said Darryl Dunn of the Rose Bowl. "It's almost like a 'bucket list' item. People go and they throw the football, they kick the field goals."
The pavilion is a brand new part of the stadium and will be completed in a week.
"We've been working on it for two years," Dunn said. "People who go up there can see the behind-the-scenes part of what's in this area."
