Authorities say callers reported a man with a gun in the 1200 block of West 15th Street around 2:30 a.m.
LAPD officers shot one suspect in the back. He was taken to the hospital.
Officers then had trouble getting two other suspects out of a home, so they set up a perimeter and eventually detained them.
No officers were injured.
