Pharmacy chain CVS has revised its policy on the sale of products containing acetone, a key ingredient in making methamphetamine.

Recently, CVS begun requiring customers to show a photo ID at checkout if they were purchasing products containing acetone, notably nail polish remover.

But according to the chain's Facebook page, that policy has been updated, and photo ID is no longer required.

The change follows complaints from customers.
