Studio City post office clerk held up at gunpoint

STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES

The robbery occurred at about 3 p.m. Wednesday at the post office on the 3900 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard. The suspect waited in line and when it was his turn at the counter, he discreetly brandished a black semi-automatic pistol and demanded cash from the clerk.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s or early 50s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing about 180 to 200 pounds. He was seen wearing a dark colored bandana on his head, dark sunglasses, beige colored T-shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a single black glove on his left hand.
