Burger King launches lower-calorie french fry

The world's No. 2 hamburger chain introduced a line of guilt-free fries Tuesday.

Satisfries are crinkle-cut fries that have about 20 percent fewer calories than regular french fries. The chain says the fries don't absorb as much oil due to a new batter.

A small order of Satisfries contains 270 calories, while the same size of regular fries contains 340 calories.

Burger King claims customers won't be able to taste the difference and say their idea was to create something that skimps on calories, but not on taste.

The suggested price for a small order of Satisfries is $1.89, compared with $1.59 for regular fries.
