Omar Alirio Guzman, 46, was found guilty in July of eight felony counts of lewd acts upon a child under 14 with sentencing enhancement allegations.
Guzman touched and sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl between February 2009 and December 2010, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Two other girls, 9 and 11, were also molested. The girls were visiting Guzman's child relative at his Mission Viejo residence on different occasions.
The first girl told her mother, who reported the incident to police. An investigation revealed the other incidents.
The girl's mother delivered a victim impact statement during sentencing Friday, as did the prosecutor on behalf of the other two victims.
