Last year, the San Bernardino Police Department says there were more than 2,700 stolen cars -- more than any other city in Southern California, besides Los Angeles.
Yvonne Sholdra said she had her truck stolen three weeks ago.
"I don't know how they got in; I had an alarm, but they got it," she said.
Fortunately, the police got it back, and on Monday, she was one of the first people in line at the police station for a free Club. She also had her truck's windows etched with the VIN number.
It's all part of crime prevention month in San Bernardino. Any San Bernardino resident is qualified to receive the Club for free if they own a car on the city's top 10 most stolen list:
Honda Civic, 1993-2000
Honda Accord, 1990-1997
Acura Integra, 1990-1998
Toyota Camry, 1987-1991
Toyota Corolla, 1989-2000
Nissan Sentra, 1989-1998
Nissan Altima, 1995-1997
Ford F-150, 1999-2000
Ford Explorer, 1994-1995
Chevy Impala, 2001-2007
If you see your vehicle on the list, go to the San Bernardino Police Department with proof of registration, and get a free club. Police say they still have some available.
