Bryan Barnes, 20, and Javier Bolden, 19, were charged with capital murder and other counts for the deaths of engineering students Ming Qu and Ying Wu, both 23, during a suspected robbery last April.
Qu and Wu were sitting in a car on the 2700 block of Raymond Avenue near campus when they were gunned down. Barnes and Bolden are due back in court on Jan. 23 for a pretrial hearing.
Last month, a judge ruled there was enough evidence in the case to proceed and ordered the defendants to stand trial.
