A custom 1972 black Dodge Charger was stolen from Picture Car Warehouse in Northridge Wednesday.
Other custom cars were stolen too. Two of them, a BMW and a van, have since been found.
The garage and guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd, who owns the Dodge Charger, really want the vehicle back.
"I don't know what you'd do with that car except to part it out," said Ted Moser, owner of Picture Car Warehouse. "It's so distinctive, different, we really want it back."
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the Dodge Charger or any of the other cars stolen from the facility were urged to contact LAPD Devonshire detectives at (818) 832-0609 or LAPD Van Nuys detectives at (818) 374-040.
