Oxnard home, vehicle hit by multiple gunshots

OXNARD, Calif.

Oxnard police responded to the 1800 block of Napoleon Avenue around 11:50 a.m. for a report of gunshots fired from a vehicle. When they arrived, officers said they located several bullet strikes into a house and vehicle. No one was struck by gunfire.

According to police, witnesses said that a red sedan, occupied with at least two male suspects, approached the residence. They said a passenger got out of the vehicle and fired several rounds from a handgun toward the home. The vehicle then fled the area.
