Hollywood Hills burglary suspects caught on camera

HOLLYWOOD

Two men were caught on home surveillance cameras breaking into a house on the 2000 block of Mound Street in Hollywood at about 6:30 p.m. on December 8. The suspects broke a window-door at the rear of the house, entered and ransacked the house, leaving with jewelry. They jumped over the fence and fled.

The two suspects were both described as African-American men between 18 and 23 years of age, both weighing 135 to 150 pounds.

One suspect, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, light-color pants and dark shoes. The other suspect, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, was wearing a red beanie, a camouflage shirt-vest with dark sleeves, and black-and-white striped shorts, "wearing very unique clothing," according to police.

The suspects were believed to be driving a light-color Mercedes vehicle.

The two men are suspected in other area burglaries.
