Fillmore resident Arturo Perez, 18, and Moorpark resident Steven Salceda, 24, were arrested by investigators with the East County Major Crimes and Thousand Oaks Special Enforcement units.
A Taco Bell fast-food restaurant at 1928 East Avenida De Los Arboles was robbed by a man with a hammer on December 3. That crime was captured on surveillance video. The suspect fled in Jeep Cherokee believed to be occupied by two other people.
On Monday, a Taco Bell located at 1330 North Moorpark Road was robbed by two men. The suspect in the earlier Taco Bell robbery was believed to be one of the two suspects in this case. The other suspect brandished a knife and demanded money from a clerk. The suspects then fled on foot.
In both robberies, undisclosed amounts of cash were taken.
Perez and Salceda were booked on robbery charges at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility. Perez was held on $100,000 bail; Salceda was held on $110,000 bail.
Thousand Oaks Police said the public provided information that led to the capture of the two suspects.
