The incident happened at a home in the 700 block of Sunny Grove Lane around 4:45 p.m. Police say the girl fell into the pool during a family gathering. They say the child disappeared for a few minutes and was found in the pool by a family member.
Family members started CPR. Officers arrived within 90 seconds and continued CPR on the way to the hospital.
The girl was pronounced dead at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital. An investigation is ongoing.
