CHP officials said Ortiz lost control of his vehicle as he was driving his 2012 Porsche Panamera on the freeway around 3:50 a.m. That's when the UFC legend allegedly hit a concrete center median.
Responding officials said he showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently placed under arrest.
There were two other passengers in Ortiz's car, but no one was injured.
