Flu-related deaths rise in San Bernardino County

LOS ANGELES

Officials confirmed there have been 14 flu-related deaths in the last three weeks, for a total of 16 this flu season.

It's proving to be a deadly flu season across California. The California Department of Public Health confirms 147 people have died from the flu, and four were children. Most of the deaths are related to the H1N1 virus.

Health officials urge all Californians to get the flu shot. If you have flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, and sore throat you should see your doctor.
