The crash happened just before 8 p.m. on the 12200 block of Luna Road near Highway 395.
One resident said it sounded like an earthquake and the truck barely missed his house.
Officials said no homes were struck, and no one was injured. The driver was arrested for DUI.
The crash remains under investigation.
