Long Beach sexual assault suspect sought; video released

LONG BEACH, Calif.

The incident occurred on Jan. 14 in a parking lot near 15th Street and Long Beach Boulevard around 1:30 a.m.

Investigators say the male suspect kidnapped the woman, sexually assaulted her, and dropped her off 45 minutes later near 16th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The victim immediately reported the sexual assault to police.

The suspect was described as a black or Hispanic man, approximately 30 years old, standing between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches, weighing between 180 to 200 pounds with a medium complexion and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a light-colored pullover sweatshirt, dark pants and dark shoes.

His vehicle was described as a dark-colored mid-sized four-door sedan, possibly a mid-to-late 1990's Nissan Maxima.
