Burbank man arrested in stabbing attack

A man was arrested on assault charges after allegedly stabbing two men in Burbank Saturday. He has since posted bail.
BURBANK, Calif.

Officers arrested Eric Petrossian, 24, of Burbank Sunday for allegedly stabbing two men near Sunset Canyon and Orange Grove around 4 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, the men were stabbed multiple times during an argument. One victim drove himself and the other man about two blocks away to the 1000 block of east Angeleno Avenue before dialing 911.

Responding officers found the two men, both in their early 20s, suffering from stab wounds. Both were rushed to a local hospital in serious condition, but are expected to survive.

What provoked the argument remains unknown.

Petrossian was booked into the Burbank jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, with bail set at $30,000. He posted bail around 4 a.m.
